Every year in May is National Tourism Month. The Alabama Welcome Centers host a Tourism Day Event which spot lights local business to help promote our state.
Tourism Day helps kick off the spring and summer travel season. Hotels and local business throughout the state participate so that when the tourists come back the will stay longer.
Tourism here in Alabama is growing and growing fast. Our Welcome Centers are doing such a great job promoting our State. Every year Alabama celebrates and promotes something different. The 2016 year is “The Year of Alabama Makers”
