Meth Arrest

At about 6:45 PM, January 20, 2010, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office & Abbeville Police Department Investigative Task Force conducted an undercover narcotics operation in southern Henry County, Alabama. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 1.8 ounces of methamphetamine, which was delivered to a business parking lot located on Highway 431, Headland, Alabama. Arrested was 25-year-old Juan Gonzalez Perez, who resides at an unknown address in Dothan, Alabama. Perez was booked into the Henry County Jail, charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Perez remains in the Henry County Jail awaiting an Initial Appearance before Henry County District Court Judge Derek Peterson. The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is about $6,600.00. Participating in the investigation and arrest was the Abbeville Police Department Patrol Division.
