COLQUITT, Ga. (WCTV) -- A south Georgia sheriff is accused of selling two stolen firearms.
The U.S. Attorney's office says Shane Rathel pawned two guns that had been turned into him for $600 and sold another in a private transaction for $200.
The guns were turned over to Rathel at his home by an assault and battery suspect as a condition of bond, according to officials.
Rathel, 42, was charged by the FBI with selling two stolen firearms.
