DOTHAN: Dothan Commissioner of District 5, Beth Kenward, reminded everyone of the purpose of Miracle Field at Westgate Park.
Commissioner Kenward, at Tuesday's Commission Meeting said that Miracle Field was constructed for children with disabilities. She asked everyone to make sure that the equipment is yielded for the children with disabilities first.
Commissioner Kenward said children without disabilities have been on the equipment which has prevented those with disabilities from playing.
Miracle Field was an initial brain storm of Buck and Melinda McClendon. They were joined by the Rotary Club to make the Field a reality. The purpose and design was to serve children with disabilities allowing them to have fun opportunities.
