Anyone interested in placing an order for Rada Cutlery thru the Police Department will need to do so by this Friday, March 14th.  Checks should be made payable to MOD.  Each department representative has a catalog; if you are unsure of who your rep is, please contact Amy Geddings at ext. 4402.


There are only a few days left to make your $10 donation and receive a coupon for an 8x10 photo by Sheryl Christmas Photography Studio.  Deadline for this donation is this Friday, March 14th.  If you have any questions please contact Carolyn Vaughn at ext. 3707.  Department reps have the coupons and can take your donation.


On Monday, March 18th the Police Dept. will host a bake sale and used book sale from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. in their main lobby.


Leisure Services will host their 6 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge at Troy University on Saturday, March 22nd.  Early entry fee is valid thru March 14th.  For information or to register, contact Hubie Casey at 803-2529. 


The Magistrate Office will host a fish fry on Friday, March 28th from 11:00 – 1:00 at their office located at 115 W. Adams Street.  Plates are being pre-sold and are only $6.50.  Lunch will include Catfish or Tilapia, Salad, Baked Beans, Roll and Pound Cake.  To order your plate, please contact either Adrienne Smith at ext. 4167 or Sadie Edwards at ext. 4165.


The Fire Dept. has t-shirts on sale for only $15 and orders will be taken thru March 31st.  To place your order, please send the order form with payment to Mary Johnson at Fire Admin.  Checks should be made payable to MOD.


The deadline to donate used cell phones, smartphones, Ipods and Ipads for recycling is March 31st.  Please send old devices to Amy Geddings in Public Works (room 305 at the Civic Center). 


The Breakfast-To-Go has been rescheduled to April 25th.  Delivery to departments outside the Civic Center will be available by pre-ordering no later than noon on April 24th


Don’t forget you can make a $2 donation to be eligible for the prize packages to be given away at the walk on Saturday, April 26th at Westgate Park.  Contact Amy Geddings at ext. 4402 with any questions.  Department reps can take your donations.
