DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Fire and EMS/Pilcher's to a structure fire located at 1503 Montezuma Avenue. The fire was reported to be in the kitchen area of the residence.
Dothan 911 reported to responding units that the occupants had evacuated the residence.
When Dothan Police arrived there was smoke present.
Dothan Fire were quick on the scene and contained the fire.
Dothan Fire Engine 3 ( Westgate ), Engine 1 ( Central ) and Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ) responded. Dothan Fire Captain Adrian Thomas was the acting Batalion Chief.
