Montgomery Police Department - What Is The Truth?

MONTGOMERY:    There has been a major uproar in the Montgomery Police Department. The Chief has been forced to retire by Montgomery Todd Strange. The Chief is replaced, but on Administrative Leave with pay through September 30. On September 30 the Police Chief will retire with full retirement.


Players:   Todd Strange is the Mayor of Montgomery Alabama.  Kevin Murphy is the Police Chief of the City of Montgomery. Chris Murphy is the Director of the Department of Public Safety for the City of Montgomery. Pat Murphy is the brother of Montgomery Police Chief Kevin Murphy.


Understand, Chris Murphy is retired from the United States Secret Service. Chris Murphy also served under former Alabama Governor Bob Riley as Director of the Alabama Department of Public Safety ( State Troopers ). Chris Murphy was Bob Riley's little wimp as Director of Alabama Department of Public Safety.


There was a 37 minute press conference. Some back and forth between the Police Chief and the Mayor.


Montgomery Police Kevin Murphy's twin brother, Pat Murphy, was apparently involved in a motor vehicle accident where someone was injured. Following the accident, the Chief's twin brother apparently took his own life. The Police Chief took some time off following the death. While the Police Chief was off, turmoil started and Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange made the decision to remove the police chief from command.


Confused. Listen to the 37 minutes of interview and you are more confused.


Folks, our capital city had 49 murders a few years ago. They are now investigating the 12th murder this year. With all of the state officials, Governor and Attorney General, that is shameful and disgraceful. But apparently,, from the outside looking in, the Police Chief has done something because the murders are down.


I am from the government and you can trust me!
