Geneva County, AL: Today during all of the chaos with the tornadoes touching down, I had to respond to Slocomb to a report of a tornado on the ground. I responded from Bellwood and when I got to Slocomb, I asked the Chief of Police if there was any damage and he advised me there was no damage, with the exception of the power being out to a portion of the town. The traffic signals were not working when I arrived in Slocomb due to the power being out. I was responding back to the scene of the tornado touchdown in Bellwood when the second wave of Severe Thunderstorms passed through. I was between Geneva and Hartford when I started seeing the dark clouds. I stopped beside the road where the road becomes a four lane and started taking pictures of the clouds. Below are a few pictures that I captured of the clouds. The others are from the Tornado Damage in Bellwood.
