More Information From A Henry County Juror

HENRY COUNTY:    This week I received text messages from a person who identified themselves as a juror on Henry County cases.

The juror was concerned over items displayed on the Henry County Sheriff Patrol Vehicle. Apparently the person had been to persons of power within the Henry County administration. That person had gotten no where with their complaints.

RSN posted the pictures and their concerns.

Apparently the inappropriate photograph was removed from the Henry County Sheriff vehicle.

The juror sent me the following message: "Thanks Mr. Stokes for your assistance. I been trying all summer to get it removed. I tried to get it removed thru a local politician and local activist. Your quick actions on this matter, have proved them to be nothing more than empty suits, full of empty Rhetoric".

The juror later sent me the following message: " I must tell you. Our Jury found a man not guilty for marijuana this week. Even though he did have marijuana in his possession, we found him not guilty. We decide not to send him to jail, because his crime was a victimless crime. Taking him away from hid job where he pays taxes, and putting him in jail dependent on tax payers for only 10 dollars worth of marijuana didn't sit well with the Jury. So we let him go home a free man. Black defendant, 12 jurors 3 black and 9 white. The people spoke. I think educated scholars would call it, the unspoken right of jurors to Nullify the law, that they don't agree with. Jury nullification".

No idea who the juror is and I have just allowed them to post their message on RSN.
