BIRMINGHAM: Good Morning. Remember several weeks ago I posted articles concerning comments by Birmingham Mayor and Birmingham Police Chief?

Remember I recorded that call? And the lady who answered the telephone was very rude. Then called the ranking officer with Birmingham Police. And they did not send the crime stats to a Gmail email address. Because anyone could have a Gmail email address.

The article was their challenging Presidential Candidate Donald Trump and comments he made about crime.

The Birmingham duo referred to their crime being low. When I read that it made me wonder, wait, every time I look at Birmingham news seems like their is a murder.

When questioned the Mayor's assistant was a witch ( spelling ). And his Birmingham crime stat person was uncooperative.

Since then I have ignored more crime. But today while traveling ( not driving ) I see more articles of serious crime in Birmingham.

TODAY IN BIRMINGHAM NEWS

A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Birmingham in an apparent altercation with his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, police said.

Birmingham police responded to the report of shots fired at around 1:06 a.m. A bystander at the scene told officers the shooting took place inside an apartment in the 7700 block of 4^th Ave. South.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was found lying on a bed inside the apartment, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the shooting apparently stemmed from an altercation between the victim and his new girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. Police didn't say whether the woman was at the scene and involved in the dispute.
