We want to thank you for your patience during the restoration event! The Crews have been working very long hours and we desire to get everyone in power as soon as possible. We were successful yesterday but did have setbacks as additional limbs and trees fell causing additional power outages and delayed power restoration. Today: We have Crews from Troy, Andalusia, Tuskegee and Opelika assisting Dothan Utilities with power restoration this morning. In addition, our Asplundh crews are working to with us to try to eliminate trees hanging over power lines (North and South Side Crews). We have additional assessment teams reviewing service areas for problems and trees hanging over lines. We have a large number of vehicles with equipment and materials on the roadways at this time. Please stay away from the Crews working and out of the Job areas, this will help speed up the restoration. Again, thank you for your patience! We estimate less than 450 customers currently without power.
