Morris Charged with Domestic Violence - Felony

DOTHAN: On Monday Dothan Police arrested 57 year old Larry Morris for felony Domestic Violence strangulation or suffocation.
Morris and his alleged girlfriend were in a domestic related incident at a residence in the 600 block of East Adams Street.
The charges against Morris allege that he struck his girlfriend multiple times in the face, and choking her until she temporarily lost consciousness.
Morris is a bondsman with A - Advantage Bonding. The domestic incident did not include any part of his job as a bondsman. It was a domestic issue between he and his girlfriend.
Morris was placed in the Dothan City Jail and transferred to Houston County Jail as all felonies are. His bond was set at $ 30,000.00 and Guaranteed Bonding made his bond.
Rickey Stokes owns A - Advantage Bonding. When he was notified that Morris was a suspect in the domestic violence, Stokes contacted Dothan Police to see if they were looking for Morris. When Dothan Police confirmed they were he contacted Morris who met Stokes at the office. Stokes then walked with him to Dothan Police Department where he turned him over to Dothan Police Criminal Investigator Tate.
