Mother Of Abducted Teen Prays For Court To Return Daughter

The mother of a girl police say was kidnapped from a Dothan doctor's office this week was trying to get her daughter back after the pregnant teen was removed from her home by the Department of Human Resources. Investigators now believe Julie Bethke may have been involved when her 15-year old daughter, Aileen Lander, was taken from the office of Dothan OBGYN located in the doctor's building at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Bethke is now believed to have been involved with her daughter's stepfather when the girl was taken Monday. Prior to the abduction, Bethke spoke about her daughter and her potential return from DHR care.
