HEADLAND:   There was an article which was written on a blog that made accusations against Twentieth Judicial Circuit District Attorney Doug Valeska.

The accusations from the blog against Valeska are " Justice demands that Mr. Lasky that the FBI re-open an investigation into the Patrick Humphrey shooting and what Mr. Valeska's and his brother's role were in preventing a grand jury from hearing what three eyewitnesses had to say". The blog further makes accusations that the FBI and Alabama Bureau of Investigation did not interview three witnesses and they were not presented to the Grand Jury.

The blog presents the three witnesses with the statement " Guess what Special Agent Robert Lasky here they are for the whole world to listen to".

WE HAVE INVESTIGATED

On January 31, 2012 Headland Police Department was presented with a situation where deadly physical force was required. Remember, law enforcement officers are "forced" to make the decision to use deadly physical force. It is not something a law enforcement officer gets up and say's, hey I am going to kill someone today.

On January 31, 2012, Headland Police Department and Headland Fire Department were presented with the decisions about 3:30 AM. The end result a Headland Police Department was forced into the use of deadly physical force which claimed the life of 33 year old Patrick Humphrey.

Henry County/Abbeville Sheriff - Police Task Force Investigator Eric Duhaime interviewed the mother of Patrick O'Humphrey about 5:33 AM, some two hours after the incident. RSN has located the audio of Velma Jean Humphrey, mother of the deceased.

THE FOLLOWING INTERVIEW WAS CONDUCTED BY GLASCOW AND JON CARROLL

We report and you decide on what is the truth.

For the record, Twentieth Judicial Circuit District Attorney allowed anyone with information to testify to the Grand Jury in the case of Patrick Humphrey. And we understand that Humphrey's mom did testify to the Grand Jury. But that information is secretive.

At the time of the interview with law enforcement, Ms. Humphrey made it clear, the law enforcement officers had "no other choice" but to use deadly physical force in the shooting of her son. Ms. Humphrey said " he's my son but they ( Headland Police Department ) had no other choice" in shooting her son.
