Motor Vehicle Acccident Timbers and Honeysuckle Road

DOTHAN:  At 1:53 PM Dothan Communications dispatched emergency units to a motor vehicle accident on Honeysuckle Road and Hartford Highway.

When the units arrived it was determined the accident was at Timbers Drive and Honeysuckle Road. The accident involed two vehicles and the accident was almost a head on collision.

The two drivers received minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital by ambulance. One driver did go to the hospital by private auto. The driver of the other vehicle received injuries on the hand from the air bag deployment.

Both vehicle has air bags deploy. The green vehicle, the side impact bags deployed, and only on the left side where the major impact occured.

In this accident, the air bags, the side airs bags and seat belt prevented serious - critical injuries. The air bags worked and the drivers protected.

Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) and Pilcher’s Ambulance responded. Dothan Police investigated the accident.
