Updated: Motor Vehicle Crash in Dale County Leaves One Dead

DALE COUNTY: Fire and EMS are on the scene on County Road 1 at the railroad tracks in Dale County. Reports are one person is dead. Dale County Sheriff's Office and Alabama State Troopers are also on the scene. The cause of the crash is under investgation by the Level Plains Police Department. 


UPDATED:


We have learned that wreck happened around 3:00 am this morning. The vehicle struck the gaurd rail of the bridge and traveled about another 100 yards. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was trown from the vehicle. We will updated when we have more information.
