Geneva County, AL: 34 Central dispatched Black Volunteer Fire Department and Geneva County Sheriff's Deputies to a motor vehicle crash on Geneva County Road 4. The scene of the crash was located near Esto Road. It is reported that the vehicle swerved to miss a deer and wound up in the trees almost hitting a house. The person in the vehicle was transported to Flowers Hospital in Dothan with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Hartford Dispatch also dispatched a Hartford ambulance to the scene. A Hartford ambulance responded to the scene and transported.
While enroute to the crash, a Hartford ambulance hit a deer. It did not severely damage the ambulance. Also while enroute to the crash, a Geneva County Deputy also hit a deer. Please everyone, be careful. It is very foggy outside. It took me a while to get to the scene from Samson because of the fog. The crash will be under investigation by an Alabama State Trooper.
