Motor Vheicle Crash in Marianna

On March 2nd, 2015 at approximately 6:59 p.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the area of Penn Ave and I-10 in reference to a traffic crash involving two vehicles with possible entrapment. Officers arrived on scene along with Marianna Fire Rescue to find a single male occupant was entrapped in a black Ford mustang which was wedged under the trailer portion of a semi-truck. The semi-truck was attempting to leave the I-10 off ramp and head north on Penn Ave. and the Ford mustang was travelling south on Penn Ave. The driver of the Ford mustang was transported by helicopter to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries. This traffic crash is still under investigation.
