HOUSTON COUNTY:    On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wilkinson were in Tifton Georgia. They stopped made a stop at a Flea Market. While there Mr. Wilkinson suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital in Tifton Georgia where he passed away.

For the past year Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson were in Gainsville Florida where he underwent two lung transplants. It has only been recently that Mr. Wilkinson was doing well from the second transplant and released to return home. Since the second transplant he had been doing real well.

Mr. Wilkinson fought breathing problems for years. He would give out real easy and fought giving out very easy. He fought a good fight through the two transplants. With all the medical procedures he had undergone, he maintained a good positive and healthy attitude.

Thomas Wilkinson worked with Dothan Fire Department for many years until his retirement as a Captain. He owned and operated Dothan Pest Control. As long as his oxygen level allowed, Mr. Wilkinson worked every day, fighting his health to serve his customers.

He enjoyed his family. Over the years, each time the grandkids were playing ball, you would see both Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson at the ball parks supporting the grandkids and their children.
