National Peanut Festival Ribbon Cutting

Tonight at 5:00 PM many gathered for the annual ribbon cutting to kickoff the National Peanut Festival. The great Governor of Alabama, Robert Bentley was present and gave a few brief words.  Below is the schedule of events for the festival.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4
• Gates Open – 4:00 p.m.
• Ribbon Cutting – 5:00 p.m. – Main Entrance

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5
• Gates open – 8:00 a.m.
• Cheerleading Competition – 9:00 a.m. – Wells Fargo Arena
• Southern Regional Open Karate Tournament – 10:00 a.m. – Civic Center
• Midway opens – 10:00 a.m.
Craig Campbell Concert – 7:30 p.m. – Amphitheater

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6
• Gates Open – 1:00 p.m.
