No Electricity In Downtown Dothan

DOTHAN:    Today Dothan Dothan Commissioners spent one million dollars for land for a new landfill - Commissioners Albert Kirkland, Critt Snellgrove, Amos Newsome, James Reading, Hamp Baxley and Taylor Barbaree. They are spending $ 600,000.00 to renovate the eastisde fire station.

They need to spend some money on the major money maker for the City of Dothan, that is Dothan Utilities.

In downtown Dothan electricity has been out for several hours.  That also means the telephoe system has been out. However, when the bill is not paid they are very quick to CUT your power off with no excuses.

I do not know what the problem or issue is on the power in downtown. But the wise and many so called "leaders" of this City, like Mike West and Albert Kirkland and Critt Snellgrove, need to go to work and make sure Dothan Utilities is properly invested in and Dothan's main revenue source is protected. Electricity has been going off to often around Dothan.
