NO CHILD WAS IN DANGER AND NO CHILD WAS HURT



PINCKARD:   This morning Dale County Sheriff Department, Mason Bynum and Chief Deputy Tim McDonald along with Pinckard Police responded to South Dale in Pinckard. Also School Supt. Bynum was on the premises.


A person banned from the school property was on premises. Reports were that person was armed. There was a firearm in the glove box but he was not threatening with the weapon.


There was a multiple law enforcement officer response which is normal with all school incidents. At no time were any students in danger.


Rest assured, your Dale County School Superintendent Mr. Bynum was on the scene immediately.


Rest assured you Dale County Sheriff Department deputies and command staff were on the scene immediately.


Rest assured your Pinckard Police were on the scene immediately.
