NWS - Confidence is increasing in a severe weather event on Sunday. The severe weather may be a little more widespread or significant than is typical for a wintertime event. The primary hazards will be damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes. The timing will be during the afternoon hours on Sunday, although a few morning storms can't be ruled out. We recommend that people stay weather aware on Sunday and have methods to receive warning information.
