Off Duty Covington County Deputy Killed

Opp, AL (WSFA) -          


A Covington County Sheriff's Deputy died on Wednesday after the motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald. 


Officers with the Opp Police Department responded to West Cumming Avenue around 7:12 p.m. in reference to the single-vehicle accident.
