Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz added, "An important role of economic development is the connection of individuals with a business who wants to hire local people who need jobs. I’m very proud of the work that has been done to connect these two groups and provide the necessary training so that
both will succeed."The training program is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 22, and graduate Friday, Dec. 19, 2014.
Selected trainees will attend class during the day, five-days a week, eight-hours a day, 40-hours per week for eight weeks. There’s no cost to the trainees for the training program and all training materials will be provided, including training manuals and tools.
