A suspect wanted in the abduction and murder of an elderly Ohio couple robbed a convenience store in West Virginia Saturday, according to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.

Robert R. Clark, 29, who is last known to have lived in Barnhill and Dennison is wanted in the murders of Lillian and Doyle Chumney. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The Sheriff's Office says the robbery was reported at Little General BP store in Kanawha County about 5 p.m. Saturday.

Three white males were involved, one of which is a heavy-set white male driving a dark green minivan with Ohio plates, matching Clark's description.

The Sheriff's Office says the men first attempted to snatch a purse in the parking lot, but the female victim fled.

In the store, they brandished a sawed-off shotgun and pistol and demanded money. The clerk fled

The three were later at another store in Jackson County, W.Va. Jackson County Sheriff's Office investigators believe they were about to rob it when something interrupted them and they left the store.

The two other men with Clark are described as "noticeably smaller stature."

Investigators say Stewart incriminated Clark.
