Okaloosa County Crash Claims the Life of an Alabama Man

Two panhandle men are sent to the hospital after their car crashes head onto another near Northwest Florida Regional Airport.
The crash happened around 4:30 Thursday afternoon on State Road 123 in Okaloosa county.

 

Florida Highway Patrol says Christopher  Shoeller, 35, of Panama City, and his passenger were heading southbound on the roadway when Shoeller crossed the yellow line, striking another truck going North. Shoeller suffered critical injuries. His passenger, Brian Taylor, of Panama City Beach, sustained minor injuries.

 

The driver of the other vehicle, Robert Carlisle, of Alabama, was killed in the collision. Troopers closed the roadway for more than three hours and continue to investigate this crash this morning.
