HOUSTON COUNTY:  When you go to the Houston County Courthouse this next week for a visit to the Clerk’s Office, be careful. There is one lady which research is on-going to see if:

(1) Did she start BEFORE Houston County was formed? (2) Was she there BEFORE the courthouse was constructed (3) or after...

As long as I can remember, this person has been in the Houston County Courthouse. Probably longer than Judge Jerry White.

Today is Rhonda May’s birthday. You will need to talk loud and slow so that she can hear you. She has problems staying at her desk. I heard Circuit Clerk Carla Woodall has had to order one of those alarms to be notified when Rhonda gets up from her desk so Rhonda will not stary off very far.

Rhonda’s husband Wayne May has to pick her up for lunch every day to make sure she gets back to the office. And now with an added year it is going to be worse.

All of the ladies in the Houston County Courthouse look after her. They catch her slack.

All joking aside...Rhonda does a great job! Wanted to wish her a very Happy Birthday.
