One Arrested for Dealing in Stolen Property


 


Jack Donald Adair, III, 22, of 56 W Orange Avenue, Defuniak Springs, was arrested for dealing in stolen property.  On March 20th, 2014, Adair sold a stolen Taurus PT945 and a Beretta Model 70 to Pawn Plus 2, located at 188 N 9th Street, Defuniak Springs.  Adair received $400.00 for the sale of both firearms.  The firearms were reported stolen by the owner on March 14th, whose home was broken into.  In both incidents, Adair used his driver’s license to make the sale.  On March 22, 2014, Adair received $350.00 for selling a Browning shotgun to Copeland’s Gun and Tackle located at 17290 South US Highway 331, Freeport.  The shotgun was reported stolen by the owner whose home was broken into on March 21, 2014.
