A break in the case involving the assault of an elderly couple in Geneva County lands one man behind bars, as the search continues for additional suspects.


Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms held a press conference on April 30, 2016, along with investigators, making the announcement.


Javon Jaquez Petty, 20, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 1st degree, Robbery 1st degree and Attempted Murder.
