HOUSTON COUNTY:   Tonight, what was the subject of a Tuesday evening manhunt, ended.

On Tuesday Houston County Sheriff Department was in a manhunt for two subjects and then for three. Two subjects were taken into custody and a third was sought.

Two of the three had arrest warrants on them, one being a fugitive from justice.

Tonight Dothan Fireman Tim Wright, who resides near where Houston County Sheriff Department was looking for one of the persons of interest, Wright located.

The person was located near Cottonwood. Wright saw the subject. The person was a male, age 23. Wright stared talking to the person and quickly determined he was not harmful, not armed and seemed a scared 23 year old young man.

After an extended time of talking to the young man, Wright took him and allowed him to clean up. Wright then talked honest and frank with the young man about running and the right thing to do was turn himself in to law enforcement. That running was not going to get the young man anywhere in life.

The young man, after Wright fed him and allowed him to clean up, agreed and Wright called Houston County Sheriff Deputies.

The deputies responded and the young man had no active arrest warrants like the other two people. The young man had hooked up with the two older persons because he had no where to go. When law enforcement approached, the other two said "run". So he ran.

He was not wanted. Wright described the look of relief on the young man's face. Wright contacted the young man's family in South Carolina who was relived he was safe. Wright is getting the young man a bus ticket and he will be traveling back to South Carolina.

But WAIT - the best is yet to come. Wright was able to share with the young man what JESUS CHRIST has done in Wright's life. What CHRIST can do for this young man. Wright was excited to say, this young man accepted JESUS CHRIST as his LORD and SAVIOR tonight.

RSN is not encouraging you to approach a individual like Wright did. However, if you know Tim, he is capable of handling himself. He is a fireman because his father-in-law lost his life in a house fire in Houston County. That gave Wright the passion to become a fireman and work to save others.

Tonight, Wright participated as in instrument of the best life saving award possible - EVERLASTING LIFESAVING AWARD!!!
