Opp Investigating Death Of Two Found In Backyard

Opp, AL (WSFA) - The Opp Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people who were found in a backyard Wednesday afternoon.
According to Opp Assistant Police Chief Kevin Chance, the police department received a call about two people being down in the backyard of a residence at 603 W. Hart Ave., around 4:17 p.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived they found a man and woman dead.
The cause of death is under investigation. No other information was immediately released.
The Opp Police Department, District Attorney's Office and Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences are involved in the investigation.
