Opp Man Critically Injured in Holmes County Crash

A 1993 Mercury was eastbound on State Road 8 at approximately Mile Marker 110. For unknown reasons, the vehicle traveled onto the North shoulder and down an embankment. The vehicle traveled over a concrete culvert and collided with a tree with it’s left front. The vehicle then overturned onto its left side in a ditch. The driver od the vehicle, Daniel Whitt, 28, of Opp, Alabama, was transported to Bay Medical by Air Heart and is in Critical Condition. The crash is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
