DOTHAN: Dothan Fire units responded to a outdoor fire that had gotten out of control on Simms Road. Firefighters had to close the Saunders Road to lay in a water supply. Firefighter quickly got a handle on the fire and the road has reopened. One lady say the fire truck and two Houston County Sheriff’s Units and decided to cut through the parking lot, by doing so she ran over the fire hose. A deputy went and puller her over to explain what you are not supposed to road over the fire hose. She was given a ticket for doing so and sent on her way.


Remember when you see a fire truck and patrol units blocking the road... there is a reason... don’t run over the fire hose...
