DOTHAN:  At 4:28 PM Dothan Communications Center dispatched fire engines and police to Winn Dixie 3850 West Main Street.

The initial call dispatched, structure fire  smoking from oven in bakery.

Dothan Communications Center rolls equipment based on the information provided to them and prepares for the worst case. So several Dothan Fire Engines roll, police and ambulance rolls.

When the first emergency units arrives, the fire is out and only smoke. The Health Department is called because anytime fire and a public food establishment are connected, they have to approve the re-opening of the food preperation area.

Clearance granted. Store open and ready for business.
