Overturned Tractor Trailer in Banks Alabama from Yesterday

Approximately 1200, the driver was headed southbound on Highway 93 in Banks Alabama and the trailer just went of the edge of the roadway and overturned in the yard of the home (no one lived there). The truck driver was not injured but was transported the a local hospital to be checked, and he did return to the location at a later time. The vehicle was loaded with approximately 58,000 pounds of chicken feet.
Peewee’s Towing of Troy, Alabama along with Goodyear Towing of Enterprise Alabama responded to upright and tow the truck away.
Also responding to the scene were, Alabama State Troopers, Alabama Department of Transportation, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, Pike County Sheriff’s office, Pike County Health Department, Brundidge Fire Department, Banks Fire Department, along with Environmental Hazmat Services of Ashford Alabama to clean up the spilled fuel.
