On June 8, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a report of fraud at Best Buy, 4886 Montgomery Highway. Upon arrival, police learned employees of Best Buy had been alerted about a credit card that had been fraudulently used on at least two occasions. Police were called after an employee recognized the suspect who then attempted to use the stolen card. Police confirmed the man was in possession of the card and an additional card which belonged to the same victim. Investigators charged Jeramie Burleson with two counts of illegal possession of a credit card and said at that time further charges were pending.
Police have now signed two additional warrants against Burleson charging him with illegal use of a credit card after the ongoing investigation revealed he used the cards before police seized them to make purchases at Best Buy and Winn-Dixie.
· Jeramie Burleson, white male, 31 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with two counts of Illegal Possession of a Credit Card with bonds totaling $30,000.
