Ozark Police Captain Retires After 24 and a Half Years of Service

OZARK: Captain Blankenship started his career in Law Enforcement on January 7,1991 as a patrol officer with the Ozark Police Department. Blankenship worked hard and rose up through the ranks. 


In 1995 Blankenship was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, in 2002 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and shift commander. In 2010 Blankenship was promoted to the rank of Captain and was overall Special Operations and Training for the Ozark Police Department. 


Blankenship has helped train numerous law enforcement agencies throughout Alabama and will be greatly missed. Now that his is retired he plans relax and spending time with family do what he wants to do....
