OZARK:   Moments ago Ozark Police gave chase to a vehicle. The vehicle was north bound in the south bound lanes on Highway 231 at Ozark.

Moments after the chase started the Ozark Police Officer reported the vehicle wrecked on Highway 231 and Parker Hills Road. The Ozark Police Officer reported no injuries but requested Ozark Fire Department because of possible vehicle fire.

Midland City Police issued a look out for a vehicle that left the seen of a accident. It is unknown at this time if the two are connected.

Ozark Fire Department reported no fire on the scene.

The chase was of a suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Neon, that was involved in a hit and run accident in Midland City. The quick broadcast both to Dothan Police and Ozark/Dale County 911 resulted in the quick apprehension of the suspect.
