On June 9, 2013 around 11:40 pm a black male forced his way into the Taco Bell Restaurant located on US Hwy 231 in Ozark, ALabama as the manager and crew person were leaving the store. The black male brandished a knife and forced the two employees into the office and directed the manager to open the safe then took an undisclosed amount of money. The black male then exited the store through the back door and fled the scene on foot. The black male is described as being in his late 20's or early 30's, between 5'11 and 6'2 and weighing over 200 pounds. The black male was also described to be wearing a ball cap, a light colored shirt and blue jeans. This case is actively being worked by the Ozark Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Wiregrass Violent Crime and Drug Task Force.
