Ozark Woman Charged with Third Degree Robbery

On August 7, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent robbery investigation.
Investigators say that on July 21st, 2014, Dana Retif entered Dillard’s department store and took over $800.00 in merchandise from the business without paying. When Retif exited the store, she was approached by an employee of the business. Retif entered a red pick-up truck and struck the employee with the vehicle as she attempted to leave the parking-lot. The employee suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
Investigators say through information gathered at the scene, they were able to identify Retif as the individual responsible for the theft an assault.
Her arrest now brings this investigation to a close.
- Dana Marie Retif, white female, 46 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with third degree Robbery. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
