            On Tuesday June 12^th, 2012 Keri Leigh Houseman was arrested by the Vestavia Hills Police Department in Vestavia Hills, Alabama on a Jackson County warrant for Armed Burglary, Grand Theft Firearm and Grand Theft.  Investigators from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were able to assist the Vestavia Hills Police Department in locating Houseman.

            Houseman’s arrest was a result of a three month investigation into a burglary that occurred on March 12^th, 2012 at 5793 Hwy 77 in Graceville, Florida.  The home owner, Dannie Willis, reported that someone had stolen money and a handgun from his residence.  Houseman, who was living in Bay County at the time, was an acquaintance of Willis and was identified as a suspect in this case. The stolen handgun was later recovered from a residence in Bay County, Florida.

            Houseman was arrested and transported to the Vestavia Hills Police Department to be held until she can be extradited back to Florida.
