MONTGOMERY CO., AL (WSFA) -
Victims of a 1991 crime spree can rest easy after parole was denied to the convicted murderers of the crime Wednesday
During the hearings held inside the Montgomery Courthouse, the board denied the parole for each of the three men convicted, Tyrone Gibson, Ben Oryang, and McArthur Harris. The men will be up for parole again in 2020.
District Attorney Daryl Bailey told the courts that the three terrorized the community and killed for fun, which was pure evil. He asked the board for no parole to be issued to the men. Family and friends of the victims also pleaded with the board.
