WILLIAMS, PAUL - Our beloved son and brother, died July 28, 2010. Paul was born in Mobile, AL on October 6, 1963 and grew up in Dothan, AL. He lived in Memphis for many years and moved to Knoxville in 2008. He was the best hairstylist anyone could ever wish for. His profession and his clients were very important to him - Paul loved what he did. Paul was an accomplished pianist who embraced life to the fullest and laughed every day. His parents, Kater and Jean Williams, survive him as do his sisters, Tami Adams (Walter) of Knoxville, Paula Greer (Barry) of Alpharetta, GA, Jane Lauretig (Chris) of Cleveland, OH and Christy Williams (Brian) of Eugene, OR. Paul has six nieces and nephews who love him and will miss their uncle Paul very much, Mandy Houston, Anna Marie Houston, Daniel Adams, Katie Adams, Abigail Lauretig, and Charlie Lauretig. He leaves many, many friends in Knoxville, Memphis, and Dothan all of whom will miss him. We appreciate their love and support at this time. We want to thank the very special nurses and staff on 8 North at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Brenda Chambers, and Dr. Jeanne Gillian at Hope Center for all their care and support. A Celebration and Remembrance of Paul's life will be held Saturday, July 31st at Gentry-Griffey Chapel in Fountain City at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Don Ferguson of St. Paul United Methodist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hope Center, 1901 Clinch Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919. Paul volunteered at Hope Center and would like knowing he was able to continue helping. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word. Arrangements by Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
