Please Pray For Columbia Baptist Association And The Leadership

DOTHAN:     Throughout the churches of the Columbia Baptist Association it has been identified there are some specific needs within the Associational Management. We have been asked and charged with the duty, as Christians, to lift Dr. Jerry Grandstaff and others up in special prayer.

The Columbia Baptist Association is the mission arm of some 55 Baptist Churches in Dothan – Houston County.

In the next few days you will be hearing further of the specifics of the needs to the Association. In your prayer life please pray that Dr. Grandstaff will clearly see God’s hand as he leads the association in the days ahead.

Also please pray specifically for “everyone” that is or “has” worked in the associational office.

To Be Specific

There has been a situation which has developed over the last couple of days where some money from the Columbia Baptist Association is missing.

Please understand, Dr. Jerry Grandstaff is not a person of interest in this investigation.

However, please pray specifically for his wisdom as the investigation develops. And pray for the person or persons which could have been involved. No matter the outcome of the investigation, EACH person needs specific prayer.

And, DO NOT jump to conclusions or rumors because I am being so vague in what I am saying!!!

As Christians, we are charged and duty bound to seek God’s wisdom and direction. This comes through prayer and remembrance that when Jesus died on the cross, he died with his arms open wide and not closed. The presentation of the gospel is in the supremacy, the sufficiency and the simplicity of the gospel.

As Christians, we are to proclaim the Gospel of Christ,  in fact we are obligated to share the Gospel of Christ. That is the mission of the Columbia Baptist Association, the mission of the 55 churches which make up the association, and utmost, the mission of each individual who is a Christian.

As things develop this story will be updated.

NOTE:

Dr. Jerry Grandstaff has not asked me to write anything about this or contacted me to write anything about what is happening. However, this is something which will hit the media in the immediate days ahead. As it does, Christians jobs are clearly defined, LOVE each person and PRAY for each person. No middle ground, show unconditional love surrounded by prayer.
