AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) -
The death of a prominent Prattville resident on Tuesday has been ruled as a homicide and an arrest has been made in the case, according to Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger.
Sedinger said Carol Parker Nunnery's body was found on Tuesday by an Autauga County resident on the edge of a pond on County Road 3, located off Highway 14.
Nunnery's vehicle was found in another location on Highway 14 in Prattville earlier Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Sedinger said the case is now classified as a homicide, and that Willie Foster was arrested by U.S. Marshals in relation to the case.
Sedinger says he believes Foster was doing some yard work for Nunnery, but a motive for the homicide still remains unclear.
