It has been a joy to work for the Dothan Police Department for the past 25 years. I love the City of Dothan and its citizens. I am very proud of the accomplishments of the Dothan Police Department over the past 5 years. With my command staff, we have made many improvements. We have become an accredited agency and have taken major strides in improving the overall professionalism of our department. We have become more community friendly by involving ourselves in the community. The creation of the Community Services Division has played a big role in our success. Training of sworn personnel has tripled during these 5 years. Our city’s crime rate has gone down for 4 consecutive years and this is due large in part to having successfully grown our Community Watch program.


As I said, I’ve been in law enforcement for over 25 years and have had a great time serving with the entire staff of the Dothan Police Department. I am still relatively young and am ready to venture into the next phase of my life. I will be seeking a job in the corporate world and look forward to the challenges ahead.


I want to take this opportunity to thank the men and woman of the Dothan Police Department. This city has one of the best departments in the United States and I am proud to say I’ve been a member of it.
