On July 3rd, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 400 block of Mona Drive in reference to a firearm assault.
Upon arrival, officers found a white female, shot multiple times but alert and conscious, outside of an apartment. The victim advised the officers her assailant was her ex-boyfriend Michael Bailey and that he fled the scene in a green Ford Crown Victoria passenger car. Officer’s quickly gathered information and found that Bailey lived in Ozark, Alabama. The information obtained was broadcasted to surrounding law enforcement agencies when a Midland City police officer spotted Bailey’s vehicle.
