Press Release on Yesterday's Armed Robbery at Citgo

On March 14, 2013 at 1:39 p.m., the Dothan Police Department Communications Center received a report of an armed robbery in progress at A.W. Herndon CITGO, 1817 Montgomery Highway. An employee reported that a woman in possession of a knife came into the business and demanded money. An alert officer in the vicinity responded to that location and found the suspect Whisper Lott inside of the business with the employee. Lott was taken into custody without further incident.
- Whisper Linda Lott, white female, 22 years of age, of Sioux Street was arrested and charged with first degree Robbery, with a $60,000 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
