HENRY COUNTY: This morning I left the lake at 7 AM to be in Dothan in time for church. As I crossed the bridge leaving the view was great. The lake was peaceful and calm. I backed up and took a picture.
As I was driving in on County Road 65 a turkey crossed the road. Then on County Road 26, about 5 deer crossed and as I got closer two more stopped as they saw the vehicle. They remained at the woodline. I stopped and took pictures, The two deer then turned and ran back into the woods.
The lake is my favorite place. Quiet and peaceful.
And fun with the lake family. Grilling, visiting, chatting. All good people and fun.
The water level of the lake is down. You can never understand the Corp of Engineers and their mindset as to the level of the water. People need to contact U.S. Representative Martha Roby because the underwater grass is taking over Lake Eufaula. Roby and Sessions need to be aggressive with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers to attack it quick and fast before Eufaula becomes Lake Seminole.
